Cancellation of Annual Company Carnival (Fair) and Golf Tournament

It is with profound sadness that the Malvern Fire Company has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s annual Fire Company Carnival (Fair) and golf tournaments. As our two primary fund raisers this was a very difficult decision to make. Each year these fund raisers contribute approximately 10% of our operating budget for a revenue of approximately $50,000. In a time when every dollar counts this is a big hit to our yearly income. Based on ongoing feedback from county, state and federal sources on the ongoing pandemic we felt it was in the best interest of the community we service and our personnel to cancel these event this year. We hope that next summer will be different and we can hold these annual events again and going forward.

With this being said we continue to need your help so that we can continue to help all of you. There are many ways you can assist us.

These include the following:

• When you make purchases on Amazon make us your charity through smile.amazon.com and choose Malvern Fire Company.
• If you are within our primary EMS response area and have not already done so become a member of the Ambulance Subscription Drive. More information is available at: https://www.malvernfireco.com/content/emsinfo/ (select the link and scroll down to subscription drive)
• Donation of PPE or disinfectant supplies. We can use n95/kn95 masks, surgical masks, regular face masks, face shields, isolation gowns, cleaning/disinfectant wipes/cleaners and hand sanitizer.
