At 07:44 hours Station 4 Fire and EMS units were alerted to the 400 block of South Warren Avenue in Malvern Borough for a reported automobile accident.

This was the second simultaneous call for Malvern EMS units, as Ambulance 4-1 was handling a medical emergency on the 100 block of Church Street.

Initial reports indicated that there was a two vehicle accident in front of the Malvern Prep School and that the vehicles were not blocking the roadway. Additional reports of at least one person injured were also received.

Tac 4 (Chief Vaughn) and Ambulance 4-2 made the response and arrived to confirm the reports. Fire crews assisted the crew of Ambulance 4-2 with patient care. In addition to patient care, crews secured the vehicles and cleared the roadway of debris from the accident.

Due to the morning rush hour, Fire Police from Station 3 (Paoli) and Station 5 (East Whiteland) were requested to the scene for traffic control.

Malvern EMS units transported 2 injured subjects from the accident scene to a local hospital.

Station 4 fire units were available around 08:20 hours.
