By Fire Chief Kyle Vaughn
March 5, 2026
Station 4 Fire and EMS responded to a call at the intersection of South Warren Avenue and Second Avenue for a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle reported to be in an embankment. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle off the roadway and into the woods, with the occupant already outside the vehicle.
Fire and EMS personnel assessed the occupant, who did not require emergency medical services. Fire units examined the vehicle and remained on the scene to assist Abel Brothers Towing with recovery operations. Crews operated at the location for approximately two hours before the roadway was reopened.
