New Tanker 4

Malvern crews headed to Louisiana over the Labor Day holiday to perform a final inspection on our new tanker, Tanker 4. Tanker 4 is a 2025 Freightliner M2-106 Commercial Chassis with a Cummins L9 360 HP Engine, Allison 3000EVS 5-Speed Transmission, Hale QMax 1500 GPM Pump, and a 3000 Gallon Water Tank. It was delivered to Malvern last night, and crews will start the process of placing it in service.
Our new tanker was purchased through a grant sponsored by State Senator Carolyn Comitta, We would also like to thank Malvern Borough for sponsoring our grant for this piece of apparatus. This truck will be replacing our aging 1996 Ferrara Pumper-Tanker.
