Just as crews were finishing an evening of working at our annual fair, Ladder 4 was dispatched to assist the Goshen Fire Company as part of the second alarm assignment on a commercial building fire in the 1000 Block of Airport Road, in West Goshen Township. Ladder 4 arrived and reported to the manpower pool where the crew was directed to assist with ventilation efforts in the rear of the building. Later in the incident, the Ladder was directed to the “B” Side of the building to continue with ventilation efforts and lighting alongside Ladder 49 from the East Brandywine Fire Company. Malvern crews worked for just under two hours before being released by the Incident Commander.
