| With the recent snow storm and more forecasted in the near future, We ask that if you have a fire hydrant on or near your property, that you dig it out from the snow so we can find it in case of an emergency.
Locating a hidden hydrant and digging out a covered hydrant take critical time in the event of fire.
If you have a hydrant on or near your property, please dig out 3 feet on all sides of the hydrant as well as a pathway to the street so we may locate and connect to it if necessary.
It is also important to clear snow from walkways, driveways and any exterior steps on your property. Should an Ambulance be needed at your home, snowcovered driveways, walkways and steps can inhibit their ability to help you.
Please contact the station at 610-647-0693 with any questions. |
