RIT to the rescue

The Rapid Intervention Team, or RIT, is a group of firefighters whose sole responsibility at an emergency scene is to rescue firefighters who have become injured or are unable to exit safely. This team is also responsible for searching for any firefighters who are unaccounted for during an incident.
