Ways to financlly support EMS (2 Of 3)

Pennsylvania municipalities have the option to establish an ambulance district or a regional municipal authority to fund and provide emergency medical services (EMS). Since municipalities are legally required to make sure ambulance coverage is available, working together enables them to share expenses, reduce dependence on volunteer staff, and create reliable, publicly funded EMS services.
