EMS needs dedicated funding

Funding for EMS should be at the same level as police departments. The cost of staffing the police department should be multiplied by two when calculating the required funding for EMS, since state law requires two EMTs or paramedics to staff each EMS unit. For fire apparatus, the funding should be multiplied by four, as it takes four firefighters to properly staff each vehicle. Honorable, but Broken!!
