| Partnerships play a vital role by bringing together different teams to offer education, mentorship, and an improved level of care. Penn Medicine partners with us to provide EMS direction, as required by the Pennsylvania Office of EMS. This collaboration also allows doctors who are pursuing further training as Emergency Medical Services Fellows to gain valuable frontline experience in pre-hospital emergency care.
These fellows spend a year working alongside EMS teams, providing on-scene medical direction and assisting with patient care before patients are transported to the emergency department. |
