| Malvern Fire and EMS responded to a call for a patient trapped in a residential elevator. Deputy 4, Engine 4, and MICU 42 arrived and found a male individual stuck inside the elevator. After gaining access to the elevator shaft, responders identified structural damage to both the elevator and the shaft itself.
Due to the extent of the damage, Rescue 53 from Fame Fire Company, which is part of the Chester County Rescue Task Force, was called to the scene. Rescue 53 worked closely with Malvern Fire and EMS personnel to stabilize the elevator and safely remove the patient. Patient was not injured. |
