This evening, Firefighter Thomas Schena graduated from the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety Fire Academy as part of Class 2503, successfully completing the Firefighter I certification.

Thomas dedicated 188 hours of training and earned certifications in Interior Firefighting, First Aid/CPR, and Hazardous Materials Operations.

We are extremely proud of Thomas for his hard work, commitment, and perseverance — balancing countless hours of training, studying, and travel to and from the academy, all while managing work, family, and volunteer responsibilities with our organization.
