As we respond to storms and power outages in our community, your safety remains our top priority. If you plan to use a generator, please follow these critical safety tips:

🔌 Place generators at least 20 feet from your home — and always away from doors, windows, and HVAC systems to prevent deadly carbon monoxide (CO) from getting inside.

🏠 Never run a generator indoors — this includes your home, garage, basement, or any enclosed area.

🛑 Install carbon monoxide detectors on every level of your home, especially near sleeping areas, and make sure they’re working properly.

Stay safe, Malvern — and if you ever suspect carbon monoxide exposure, evacuate immediately and call 911.
