The following information has been released by Malvern Borough regarding a detour in place for Old Lincoln Highway beginning August 5th:

The Borough of Malvern is excited to announce the upcoming Old Lincoln Highway Improvement Project. This essential infrastructure repair and improvement project is set to begin on August 5, 2024, and will continue through September 2024.

Project Start Date: August 5, 2024

Project End Date: Late September 2024

General Work Area: Old Lincoln Highway from Bridge Street to the Daisey Lane / Mountain Laurel Lane intersection.
Detour: Southbound traffic from Route 30 – Lancaster Avenue into Malvern Borough will be detoured east to King Street from approximately August 5, 2024 to August 23, 2024. Detour route will be posted in the field.
Northbound traffic exiting the Borough on Old Lincoln Highway will not be altered.

Expected Delays: Traffic delays are anticipated throughout the duration of the project. We kindly ask residents and commuters to plan accordingly and exercise patience.

Key Improvements Include:

Roadway sub-grade remediation
Storm sewer repair and replacement
Minor curb and sidewalk repairs
Sanitary sewer repairs
Roadway paving
