Today at 11:24 hours a Hazmat Incident was dispatched to the unit block of Long Lane in Willistown. Stations 4 (Malvern), 3 (Paoli) for two engines, and 15 (Hazmat Team) were sent. Crews from Malvern arrived to find a work truck that struck an underground propane tank. Malvern and Paoli Crews found an active leak and crews placed a line in service while checking the damage. It was determined that the valve had been broken off by the truck. Fire Crews stood by until a propane rep was able to change out the broken piece and the incident was cleared. No injuries were reported.
