On Saturday, October 15 at 5:36 am, The Paoli Fire Company and mutual aid from Berwyn Fire Company, Valley Forge Volunteer Fire Co., and Phoenixville Fire Department were alerted for a house fire on Welsh Valley Rd in Tredyffrin Township. Units operated and due to a well-advanced fire additional resources were requested by command, from Malvern Fire Company, East Whiteland Fire Company, West Whiteland Fire Company, and Good Will Fire Company #2 of West Chester. Malvern units operated until being released to cover the area. Crews responded to another incident covering Paoli during that time. Units cleared and returned to Malvern.
