Malvern Engine 4 was dispatched to assist the Paoli Fire Company along with other area mutual aid for a commercial building fire on the unit block of E. Lancaster Ave this morning at approximately 1:15 am. Units arrived with heavy smoke showing from a restaurant with an apartment above. Engine 4 along with units from 2 and 3 pulled multiple hand lines to both the apartment and restaurant. The fire was placed under control within 45 minutes with an extensive overhaul.
