Ladder on the Task Force Response to Oxford

Dispatched originally at 10:45am as a possible trash fire, the Union Fire Company of Oxford reported to the Mason Dixon Auto Parts with a working fire in a salvage yard and requested additional water supply Tankers.

At 1219 hours, Ladder 4 was requested to replace Ladder 49 as part of the 1st Alarm Chester County Fire Task Force response to assist Station 21 (Union Fire of Oxford) on this junkyard fire in West Nottingham Township. Numerous southern Chester County units as well as units from Lancaster County and Cecil County Maryland were operating at this large fire prior to the Task Force response. Ladder 4 arrived on location and took a staging position and assisted with operations until being released.
