The Malvern Fire Company is pleased to announce that is a recent recipient of a Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant. This grant was used to purchase five new Physio Control Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for the fire apparatus. These new AEDs will help ensure every piece of emergency apparatus of the Fire Company has an AED. As heart disease continues to be one of the leading causes of death in the US our goal is to have an AED on every emergency to ensure if an individual experiences a cardiac emergency we are ready to respond quickly. We thank the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation for this generous grant to help us protect our community.
