On Saturday March 18th, the Malvern Fire Company bid farewell to our President, Former Chief and dear Friend Paul Wilkins. The Chief's services were held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Downingtown and he was laid to rest at Philadelphia Memorial Park.

Paul passed away on March 14th, 2017. Paul served the fire company for 37 years. He became a mentor and brother to all who knew him. His current position held at the time of his death was President and Chief Engineer. Paul joined Malvern in 1980 at the age of 16 and held every fire officer position along the way from Lieutenant up to Chief for 6 years, on the Administrative side he served as Trustee and President.

Paul's mark will forever be left on the Malvern Fire Company, the current membership and those to come in the future.

We had a tremendous amount of help from out mutual aid companies both getting ready for Paul's services and during the services. Thank you to each one of our neighboring departments for all of your help and compassion shown in this difficult time.

Below are some pictures from Paul's services.
