At 19:38 hrs while members were attending the weekly training night, the Malvern Fire Company along with Station 2 (Berwyn) for RIT was dispatched to assist Station 5 (East Whiteland) on a reported house fire in the unit block of Oak Hill Circle in East Whiteland Township.

Ladder 4 arrived and reported smoke showing from the roof and requested the working fire dispatch. Crews advanced a 1 ¾” hose line into the home and determined the fire to be in the basement. Ladder 4’s crew took the hose line down the interior stairwell and located and extinguished the fire.
