At 16:45 hours, The Malvern Fire Company was dispatched to the unit block of Roselawn Lane in Willistown Township for a dumpster fire.

Tac 4 arrived to find a large construction dumpster fully involved. Due to the length of the driveway and the amount of water that would be needed to fully extinguish the fire, the Tac laid a 3" supply line up the driveway and deployed a 1 3/4" hoseline to extinguish the fire.

Ladder 4 arrived and supplied their tank water to the Tac. Engine 3-5 (Paoli) was requested to the scene for additional water as the Ladder filled up their tank and returned to the scene to supply an additional load to Tac 4.

The fire was quickly placed under control with no exposure problems and the Malvern and Paoli units cleared the scene around 17:45 hours.
