Assist East Whiteland on the PA Turnpike

At 09:27 hrs Engine 4-5 was dispatched along with Station 3 (Paoli) to assist Station 5 (East Whiteland) with a vehicle fire at 320.7 EB on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Tredyffrin Township.

Station 5 units arrived on location to find a trailer on fire spreading to the woods. The trailer was hauling a racing car, its fuel and some other recreational vehicles.

Engine 4-5 responded and was advised to assist with Suppression and Water Supply at the scene and the Station 3 units would be going to Yellow Springs Road to try to isolate a brush fire that started as the result of the vehicle fire.

The crew of Engine 4-5 arrived at 09:40 hrs and assisted with fire suppression on the trailer and the nearby brush fire.

Engine 4-5 Supplied 1500 gallons of water while on scene.

Station 4 units went available at 10:53 hrs.
