On Friday December 26th at 19:30 hours the first alarm structure fire assignment was alerted to the 200 Block of Archer Court for a reported house fire. Chief 4 (N. Vaughn) responded shortly after dispatch and was given the information of a passerby seeing flames and smoke inside a residence. Chief 4 arrived to find nothing evident from the front and further investigrd to find a table that was on fire but was extinguished by the homeowner. The assignment was scaled back to the Malvern units with Ladder 4 providing ventilation and removing the damaged table from the residence. All units cleared the scene at 20:10 hours.
