The Malvern Fire Company wishes to extend our most sincere gratitude to the Goshen Fire Company for their assistance while Ladder 4 was out of service for maintenance and repairs.

From late July until early September, Ladder 4 was out of service. During this time, we were left with only one Class A engine for service to our community. The Goshen Fire Company offered us use of their Engine 54-2 to help us ensure adequate fire protection services.

Goshen crews took time to train our members on the operation of the engine and ensured that it was ready for service. While this truck was generally the second or third out piece behind Engine 4-5 and Tac 4, it made over twenty responses including a working garage fire in the first due.

Malvern members treated Goshen crews to a thank you dinner during their training night on Monday 9/22. Thanks to their generosity and show of brotherhood, there was never a time when fire coverage was lacking in our first due.
