Saturday August 9th marked the third and final day of a Tanker Operations course that the Valley Forge and East Whiteland Fire Companies hosted. For the two previous Monday evenings students attended classroom lectures and practical evolutions on a variety of topics dealing with tanker operations.

The class provided valuable knowledge to new apparatus operators and a great refresher for more experienced operators. The skills taught will be used at emergencies in the future to ensure safe, quick and effective operation in tanker operations.
