On Wednesday morning April 9th, The Malvern Fire Company along with the Malvern Police Department, Willistown Township Police Department, Chester County Coroner, JeffStat Aeromedical, Villa Maria Academy & Malvern Preparatory School conducted a mock crash at the Villa campus. The purpose of the event was to teach students about the dangers of drunk and distracted driving.

Malvern Fire and EMS units responded to the school as if we had been dispatched to a serious automobile accident. Fire Chief Neil Vaughn had a microphone so that students could listen in as he took charge of the rescue operations.

Malvern Fire Company is proud to have been part of such an educational display and hopes that students will make smart decisions while driving in the future. See links below for more detail on the day.
