| On April 23rd, six members from the fire company loaded up for a road trip. The members took a 10-hour drive to Indianapolis, Indiana to see Ladder 4 on display at the 2009 Fire Department Instructors Conference. The Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC) is one of the largest fire department trade and education expo in the country. While in Indianapolis, members took the time to attend the trade show, see some local sights and talk to numerous vendors regarding upcoming purchases for the fire company. The members in attendance would like to thank KME for choosing our apparatus for their display, Jay Able from the Firestore for lunch and Tim Zupko from Kidde for the fantastic dinner arrangements. |
