Rapid Intervention Team to Berwyn

At 10:47 hours Ladder 4 with Captain 4A (M. Rychlak) was dispatched to the 1400 block of Valley Forge Road as part of the Working Fire Dispatch to assist Station 2 (Berywn) on a House Fire. Deputy 2 arrived on location to find heavy fire showing from the attached garage. Deputy 2 then established Valley Forge Road Command. Units from Station 2 (Berwyn), Station 68 (Valley Forge), Station 3 (Paoli), Delco Station 15 (Radnor), and Montco Station 47 (King of Prussia) all worked on the scene. La ... House Fire In East Whiteland

At 14:41hrs, the Malvern Fire Company was dispatched for Ladder 4 and Engine 4-5, along with St. 56 (Goshen) for an Engine to assist St. 5 (East Whiteland) on a house fire. Original reports were stating that there was smoke coming from the roof. Ladder 4 (Asst. 4 N. Vaughn) and Engine 5-3 (1st. Lt. B. Humphreys) responded shortly after dispatch. Firefighter/Paramedic Sardone Welcomes A Baby Girl

On July 28, Fireighter/Paramedic Sadye Sardone and her Husband Ken welcomed a baby girl into the world. At 08:01 hours, Michaela Margaret was born into the world weighing in at 7 pounds 10 ounces. She was 20.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are doing well. The Malvern Fire Company would like to send our best wishes to Sadye, Ken, and their family.




House Fire In Paoli

At 16:53hrs, The Malvern Fire Company, along with St. 2 (Berwyn) were alerted to the 100 block of S. Valley Rd. to assist St. 3 (Paoli) on the house fire. Shortly after, Ladder 4 with Captain 4A (M. Rychlak) went responding with five. Ladder 4 arrived on location shortly after Engine 3-1 and was ordered to have its crew set up ground ladders to enter the structure. 2010 KME Open House

On Saturday July 10th, Tac 4 traveled up to Nesquehoning, PA to the KME world headquarters for the 2010 KME Open House and Employee Appreciation Day. Tac 4 arrived just before 10 AM and was staged with other KME apparatus through-out the state and region. During the event the crew was able to tour all of the fire apparatus production buildings, visit with vendors and talk with KME personnel that assisted us during the purchase of our Ladder and Tac trucks. Firefighter/Paramedic Nowaczyk Welcomes Twins

On June 17 Firefighter/Paramedic Eric and his wife Nicole welcomed twins into the world. At 17:20 hours, Andrew James was born weighing in at 3 pounds 9 ounces. He was 16.25" long. Shortly after at 17:21 hours, Ryan Michael was born weighing in at 4 pounds 3 ounces. He was 16.5" long. Both mother and babies are doing well and at home. The Malvern Fire Company would like to send our best wishes to the Nowaczyks.




House Fire in Hershey's Mill

At 11:37 Hours Ladder 4 and Engine 4-5 were dispatched to assist Stations 54/56 (Goshen) and 5 (East Whiteland) for a reported house fire in Hershey's Mill Village in East Goshen Township. The initial 911 Call indicated fire in a bedroom with additional calls coming in reporting smoke in the area. Engine 5-2 was the first unit to respond at 11:39 hrs followed by Engine 54-2, Ladder 4 and Ladder 56. Deputy 5(Brown) arrived on the scene at 11:47 hours with heavy fire showing on side A-Alpha. ... MFC Hosts 4th Annual Golf Outing

On Wednesday, The Malvern Fire Company hosted our 4th annual golf outing at Spring Hollow Golf Club. We would like to thank all the golfers and sponsors that came out and supported the Malvern Fire company this year, and we're please to announce that it was our most succesful year yet, even with the inclement weather. The day consisted of Lunch, golf, dinner and awards ceremony. We look forward to seeing everyone next year as we continue this great tradition.
