Ladder 4 Relocate to West Chester

At 17:19 hours Ladder 4 was dispatched to relocate to Station 53 (Fame) while Ladder 53 was assisting Station 6 (West Whiteland) on a two alarm structure fire. Ladder 4 responded with a crew of six.
While at Station 53, Ladder 4 ran two fire calls. The first call was an Automatic Fire Alarm in the Borough which turned out to be set off by burnt food. The second call came in right after Ladder 4 cleared the first call. The second call was another no services Automatic Fire Alarm.

Members Enjoy Awards Banquet

At 18:00 Hrs on Saturday June 28th, the members of the Malvern Fire Company convened at the Inn at Chester Springs in Lionville for the 2008 Awards Banquet.
The evening consisted of an h'ordeurve hour, followed by dinner. After dinner, President John Rychlak addressed the membership, and then turned over the microphone to Fire Chief Paul Wilkins. Early Morning Accident On Sugartown Road

At 07:47 hours Station 4 Fire and EMS were dispatched for an Auto Accident with Injuries. Ambulance/Medic 4-2 responded and was advised of a two vehicle accident with two people injured. Deputy 4 (Gastwirth) and Rescue 4 with a crew of four went enroute.

Ladder 4 Relocate to Downingtown

At 02:12 hours Ladder 4 was dispatched to relocate to Station 45 (Alert). Ladder 4 with a crew of four volunteers responded to Downingtown. Ladder 4 was out at Station 45 with Engine 38 (Thorndale) while Downingtown Companies were operating at a house fire on Prospect Avenue in Downingtown.
At 03:09 hours Command released all of the standby companies. No calls were handled while at Station 45. Ladder 4 returned to Station 4 around 03:30 hours.

Engine 4-5 on 2 Alarm Fire In Charlestown Township

At 08:58 hours Engine 4-5 was dispatched to assist Station 61 (Kimberton), along with Station 68 (Valley Forge) and Engine 62-5 (Ridge) as part of the second alarm on the house fire. Units on the first alarm assignment were Station 61 (Kimberton), Station 65 (Phoenixville), Station 5 (East Whiteland), MICU 67 (Phoenixville), Station 47 (Lionville), and Station 68 (Valley Forge). Auto Accident With Injuries On King Street

At 06:01 hours Station 4 Fire and EMS were dispatched to the intersection of East King Street and North Warren Avenue for an Auto Accident with Unknown Injuries. Ambulance and Medic 4 went enroute and arrived on location to find a single vehicle accident with moderate damage. Rescue 4 with Lieutenant 4C (Rychlak) then responded.

Rescue Standby at Rose Tree Fire Company

On June 14, Rescue 4 was requested to standby at Delco Station 73 (Rose Tree Fire Company) while their entire company was at a funeral.
Rescue 4 was on standby from 08:30 hours until 12:00 hours. A crew of four volunteers manned the truck during the standby.
